I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education.  I have a master's degree from Marywood University in special education. I continue to take education classes to stay current in the field. 

I have over 30 years experience as an educator.  The vast majority of those years have been within the primary setting. I love the beginning process of reading, math, and problem solving. Helping students to develop both independence and love of learning are important goals within the process of learning. I always try to teach with the following proverb in mind.

 A Chinese proverb states:
Tell me, I’ll forget.

Show me, I’ll remember. 

Involve me, I’ll understand.

My name is Donna Andrewscavage, and I am proud to be a teacher. I am married to Chick Andrewscavge, and we will celebrate our 34th wedding anniversay this year.  I am a mom to two sons.  My elder son, Chip, lives in Chicago with his wife Danae, and son Miles. Miles is our grandson, and he just turned two.  My younger son Sam, lives in Exeter with his wife, Amanda. 

I enjoy time with family and friends. I am an avid reader. My favorite vacation spot is now Chicago!
